Sometimes we need to simply apply background-color, but when I click on PSD layer which have only background-color, program suggest only background-image and try to extract image.

Can you provide a sample PSD that shows the problem? Shape layers with a solid color fill should always offer a background-color code hint.

Hi,

I have exactly the same issue. I draw a simple blue square in PS, extract just offers background (extract an asset). No way to have background-color. Any idea ? test

Auto answer peterflynn gives the right way. The layer must be a Shape.

Thanks for confirming! Ideally we'd recognize when pixel layers use the same color for the whole layer, though -- I've added that idea to our feature backlog for Extract, so I'll close this to avoid duplication.
