Cannot add any non-utf8 file to .gitignore #1190

I get "Error opening file" message when clicking right mouse button on .psd-file or any other non UTF8 file. Thus I cannot add it to .gitignore from Brackets. When I press OK for the error right-click menu of "Add to .gitignore" disappears.

Brackets 1.4.0-16380 (win), Git 1.8.3.msysgit.0 & Brackets-Git 0.14.32

Try upgrading Brackets—I recall they fixed something along those lines, but can’t find a link about it right now.
