Failed to load list of diff files #1207

[I'm supposed to describe steps to replicate my issue here and if I don't do that, I understand that my issue will be probably ignored.]

Brackets 1.4.0-16380 (mac), Git 2.3.8 (Apple Git-58) & Brackets-Git 0.14.32

Failed to load list of diff files

Error: fatal: ambiguous argument '398e80aac467c301a90a9e9d9b74537c955f2f5c^..398e80aac467c301a90a9e9d9b74537c955f2f5c': unknown revision or path not in the working tree.
Use '--' to separate paths from revisions, like this:
'git <command> [<revision>...] -- [<file>...]'
