Stream restarts after each notification #183

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Play stream using market or version 2.5.

2. Receive a text or email causing a sound or vibration depending on audio 
profile.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Stream stops and starts including playing ads instead of temporarily lowering 
volume for half a second like all other major audio apps.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Apk from market or v2.5 side loaded.  On android 4.2.2.

Please provide any additional information below.
AT&T version of LG G2, stock unrooted.
