First, thanks for writing the book; I've learned a lot about Atomic Design.
I've noticed that the use of "Russian doll" to describe Pattern Lab and Atomic Design (chapter 3) is probably not correct, as the smaller doll doesn't really contribute anything to the formation of the bigger one (except for weight, but "weight" is not really UI).
I don't have any suggestion for using a different analogy, just my thought on this matter.
