I totally get the intentions with switching to the shotgun that was selected last when the player switches back to the slot.
However, for players with a very ingrained muscle memory (as well as in some hairy situations where you only want to use the super shotgun immediately) it becomes short of a nightmare sometimes.
(Obviously an exaggeration, just felt like an amusing expression of the experience.)
How about making it a console variable, like _vanillawepswitch or something?
