In Doom Retro the sound interpolation seems to handled differently than other source ports like Chocolate Doom (& Crispy) / Woof! (& Nugget Doom) / (G)ZDoom (with default (linear) resampler) or even DOS. The sound effects are harsher with the higher frequencies are more pronounced than usual. It isn't as harsh as with ZDoom's selectable 'nearest' resampler setting but it isn't as accurate as Vanilla Doom (or other source ports). I've tried the 'Vanilla' command to switch of Doom Retro's enhancements but it didn't change anything. Is there a way to change this or at least give an option to change the sound interpolation? I've made a recording from all weapons to show what I mean. On file was done with Doom Retro, the other on with Nugget Doom.
