warnings when compiling #90

I am still getting a lot of warnings while compiling. Can we get rid of some of 
these warnings? A lot 
of them are related to concerns that an object may not respond to a certain 
method, etc.

Also, does it now require 3.1 or 3.12 SDK? I have been compiling to 3.0 SDK but 
not sure if it 
makes a difference or not. If compiled to 3.12 SDK will 3.0 devices be able to 
use it?
