I think this is very useful, it keeps that chat from being flooded with correction messages.

The icons could be similar to the ones for Mute and Permalink, but positioned right next to the timestamp.

I'm pretty much a Telegram power user, so I'll be bringing up many ideas of features we have there. Feel free to disagree! In the desktop client, pressing the up arrow while the text box is empty starts editing the last sent message; escape cancels.
