Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Currently there is a "loading" preview icon to the left of the group layer (light blue points):

Describe the solution you'd like We need a better preview there?

Describe alternatives you've considered More simply, we could also display nothing?

Another aesthetic tweak could be to reduce the amount of indentation?
