I am reaching out to see if it is possible for us to meet and plan soon on what faculty to request to be involved in the UI-Brainhack this year.
I have several ideas on how to streamline this a bit and am interested in getting folks together on this.
Topic Ideas:
-Propose faculty to pitch field relevant issues which code could solve
-Invite faculty leadership to facilitate buzz for work on a given topic
-Invite faculty presence for workshops pre-hack
-Invite Grad students and post-docs to also present/prepose ideas
-Target areas of the university with informatics elements by inviting those faculty (specifically) to participate.
