Wow, all of this stuff looks great. I am wondering if we should send out a university blast about this event being canceled for this year? Additionally to maybe suggest folks check out these other exciting options :). I am particularly interested in neuromatch and think it sounds very similar to what you were pioneering last year. @jdkent

Meeting notes:

• focus on prepping students for neuromatch.
  • use existing tutorials to distribute at beginning of week and use hacky hour for discussion
  • potentially have members create structured tutorials to lead at hacky hour
• first tutorial materials will be released 2020-05-18, and the first hacky hour discussion will be 2020-05-22
• advertise to CCOM and other sources listed in the wiki
• contact attendees from last year about this year's opportunity
• contact PIs specifically for lab participation
• contact HPC teachers about showing up to hacky hour
• contact people that have taken jiefeng's python class to attend hacky hour/neuromatch
• leverage HPC sponsored tutorials.
• contact the kaggle competition to see if the data will remain open past the competition date.
• optionally let people know about the kaggle competition.

For future brainhacks, important to balance availability of open data with data PIs want to work on, and how widely they are willing/able to share their data.
