mobile - carousel sometimes jumps instead of animating

To Reproduce 1) I open https://brainhubeu.github.io/react-carousel/docs/examples/infinite in a mobile browser 2) I switch slides many times right, many times left, many times right, etc. 3) Sometimes it jumps (moved immediately) instead of doing animation. Sometimes it also does animation but in the incorrect direction.

Expected behavior 3) It should do animation.

Environment

• OS: iOS 12.4.5
• Browser: Safari (AFAIK the version is combined with the iOS version)

Additional context

• It happens for both screen orientations.
