There are a few external blogs and web pages that we used to (pre Drupal 7) bring onto the Lack-Of front page and allow comment on.

The blogs to include are:

The posts should be public (like links and blogs on L-O) like the original content. If possible, the post should have a new icon to represent it.

Are there any other blogs you would like aggregated?

This is probably configuration only as the module is now core: https://www.drupal.org/documentation/modules/aggregator (Might need some CSS to prettify)
