Support for Chinese University e-mail addresses for Registration #11

Hello, Apologies for posting this on GitHub, but I have been trying to make contact through other means for awhile, but to no success. I have been trying to register to use MutCompute with my Chinese university e-mail address (@sjtu.edu.cn); however, when I do, it states that I must match the e-mail format. Presumably, this is occurring because of the addition of the '.cn'. If there's a way to add functionality for these academic credentials, it would be fantastic to try out the network! Thank you, Braden

I have the same problem, have you solved that?

Dear Yang,

No, I have not resolved the issue; I have not received any responses from the MutCompute team regarding this issue with Chinese university addresses.

Best regards, Braden

Dear Braden,

Thanks for your reply. Have you ever tried to register using abroad educational email?

sincerely, Yang ------------------ 原始邮件 ------------------ 发件人: "bralexander/mutcompute2.0" @.>; 发送时间: 2023年4月22日(星期六) 晚上8:29 @.>; @.**@.>; 主题: Re: [bralexander/mutcompute2.0] Support for Chinese University e-mail addresses for Registration (Issue #11)

Dear Bradon, I am facing the same problem as yours. Have you solve this problem yet? If yes, how? By the way, have you send any emails to the contributors? I just did so, I wish professor Diaz could reply.
Best regards, Wang

Hi Yihui,    I was not able to proceed with the sign up process. As a result, I did not use mutcompute in my project. I emailed both contributors and received no responses. I do hope that they open the resource up to other country's institutions in the future.    Best regards, Braden
