Hi,

Despite having used the TP-Link Tapo P110, the information had to be read through HomeAssistant due to a firmware update that does not allow direct connection to the socket. The tapo lib has already been updated to support this new version, so it would be interesting to adjust the project to be able to use it (I believe it makes the reading more accurate). As soon as I have some free time I will try to make the necessary changes to do so.

Thanks for the PR. Would be nice if you could make the direct Tapo API connection. Standby power in model.json is too high. Could you re measure that manually?

Hi @bramstroker

I adjusted it to 0.8W, it fluctuates a lot using the TAPO P110 as a meter, but this is the average value over 3 hours of measurement. I also used another meter that I have here and it is also between 0.7 and 0.8 watts.
