Is the package dead? Update: created new one

I can see that there is a lot of issues opened and there is no interactivity, I would like to create a new package and we can have the write access to multiple people to avoid crises in the future.

another limitation was that the library has so much information from Google's API and only give the ability to show map direction, for me I'll make it rely on hooks so we can benefit more from the request made.

I feel like this functionality could be added to the react native maps. After all, its not much extra to be added, and it would be better for all to be bundled on the same library.

It is just one file after all, so you can just copy paste it without it being a library of its own.

I made a fork of this and updated the class to be a function component instead of a class, and added a few more functionality that I saw on the PRs here.

I created this package that relays on hooks instead, so can be used in other frameworks, and you can benefit from the rest of the information from the google API call.
