Hi, thanks for reaching out. This script was just a workaround to keep the installation of ntopng from clashing with the SO-specific pfring package. However, Security Onion 2.0 and newer no longer use pfring so my script is not needed. I have not personally tested this yet, but you should probably be able to do a standard ntopng install directly on the SO host, or even better spin up an ntopng Docker container on the SO host. Thank you so much for your work on NTOPng for Security Onion. I just upgraded SO to 2.3. When possible, would you be able to update your package for 2.3?
