This PR is ready to go!

I'm not in love with the readability of the CI error messages, but it's at least executing the unit tests properly. I've updated the repo to block PRs (into develop and master) until tests have passed. I've also intentionally failed a test temporarily to demonstrate the pipeline is working, and everything seems to be behaving!
