To grant you admin access, I'll need to move this into a new project rather than having it remain personal — is that correct? If so, we should choose a name. "python-backports"?
Oh, maybe you're right. I don't know why I was under the impression that someone could be added as admin for a privately-owned project. I'm not sure this issue is worth transferring it to a new org. Another option could be to transfer it to me long enough for me to perform the operation, then transfer it back (or leave it with me and I'll be sure to administer it as you wish or transfer it back on request).
I also considered /pypa/
or /python/
, but I suspect getting a project like this into one of those orgs would require more effort than maybe is justified.
"python-backports" seems okay. I'd also be fine with a moniker that represents you and me and whatever cabal that forms around our mutual interests, perhaps unrelated to anything specific like "backports". I stormed my brain but didn't come up with anything better than pygicians
.
Let me know how you'd like to proceed.
To support inclusivity, many projects have migrated away from the branch name "master". I'd like to see this project do the same.
I can make the change if you grant me admin access to the repo. Or you can follow the guidance here.
