Unable to add custom RSS feed in brave news #31130

Description

I clearly remember that brave had the ability to add custom rss feeds. This is also mentioned in the official brave blog , official brave youtube channel and even other third party websites

However, when I actually wanted to try it today, I'm unable to get the option to do so.

Steps to Reproduce

Open Brave News
Try to add custom news source (RSS)

Desktop Brave version:

1.53.87 Chromium: 114.0.5735.110 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)

Android Device details:

Install type (ARM, x86): ARM
Device type (Phone, Tablet, Phablet): Phone
Android version: 13

Version/Channel Information:

Happens on every channel

Can you reproduce this issue with the current release? yes
Can you reproduce this issue with the beta channel? yes
Can you reproduce this issue with the nightly channel?

Does the issue resolve itself when disabling Brave Shields? no
Does the issue resolve itself when disabling Brave Rewards? no
Is the issue reproducible on the latest version of Chrome? unrelated to chrome

Any plans to look at it in the near future?

I'm assuming they recently changed the layout. I was able to add a custom rss feed by providing the url or search within the box below Discover
