Where does Brave Store Browsing History? #32936

In macOS. Brave browser used to store browser history in a sql lite database file, located in

/Users/[macOS username]/Library/Application Support/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser/Default/History

Which is the same as ~/Library/Application Support/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser/Default/History

Now, I can not longer find the db file.

Where does Brave store browsing history? Is there a way to access it with sql lite or anything like it?

@danallendotcom thanks for the question - I'm on Nightly w/ latest version of Brave and that file is still showing for me (and has recent writes). I'm on Windows - but it shouldn't matter: image

Did you set the browser to clear history on exit? This History file is sqlite format - you can crack it open with a viewer like DB Browser for SQLite (or the command line if you're comfortable with that 😄) image

Thank you, now I found where you pointed and my problem is solved. For some reason I cannot explain, I was having a problem.

For some reason when I look in User Data I do not see a folder called Default
