6 months ago I have been getting this as well on a newly built PC, running Windows 11.
Works fine on my previous PC which was running Windows 10, however.
There are some significant hardware differences between the two computers. I am happy to provide any information you may find helpful in resolving this.

Description
Sometimes when I write text in Brave, (can be text field, can be address bar) the text being input bugs out. It behaves something like this:
The bug seems mostly visual - it's disorienting, but if I'm sure I've written things correctly, the browser ends up in the correct state, I feel at least. But it's hard to say since I usually stop typing when it occurs and let the browser catch up.
The distinctive thing about this is that it isn't just the visuals being laggy. The text actually rewinds itself backwards a little before replaying to catch up in full, which feels like some kind of consistency check noticing a discrepancy and fixing things in a more noticeable than intended way.
Steps to Reproduce
No repro, issue is intermittent and feels random.

Intermittent, feels random / haven't figured out situations where it feels like it occurs most.
