Address bar improvements

• [ ] Typing/pasting a URL and hitting enter should result in this URL being the top suggestion afterwards if the user starts typing it again, but may not be suggested at all
• [ ] Typing a URL suffix, one bookmark comes up, others that have the same suffix don't, as if they don't exist
• [ ] Typing a URL prefix, a hit from bookmarks comes up, typing the next character, which should match the same result causes it to disappear
• [ ] Trying to match on a (sub)domain suffix produces no results
• [ ] URLs are not displayed in suggestions in some cases, only titles and the location in bookmarks
• [ ] Suggests longer URLs than what the user is looking for, requiring laborious manual editing

I wonder if some of my settings may be getting in the way here. I can't find any setting for history retention, other than what to clear on exit, but that shouldn't matter once the browser is running and accumulates history.

I do have the setting enabled to use history in address bar searches

This is 1.59.117 on Linux. Searching brave://settings for "history" doesn't show any relevant options other than the two mentioned above.
