Disable Automatic updates #35305

How do I disable auto updates? Im getting annoyed at the constant pop up asking me to update as my version is out of date. Im running 10.14.6 OSX and my machine can not go any higher. I find it very unusual for a simple option to not be available.

If there is a terminal command? someone please share it if so.

I would either try a different browser or try and install Catalina using a patcher to make it run on older macs. Devs behind Brave browser do not care about users who can't update.
