Latest Chromium Update Adds Blur to YouTube Videos: How to Disable?? #35604

The recent Chromium update messed with videos or images on YouTube. Videos got this blur, which you can remove by going into theater mode or full screen. I'm trying to find and turn off that setting.

I'd like to find it and turn it off :)

@EternalTranquility1 sorry we haven't gotten back to you on this - I don't think there was anything that stood out from your report

If you're still using Brave, are you still experiencing this issue?

ryanbr commented 2 months ago

I can't replicate this, still happening or safe to close @EternalTranquility1 ?

EternalTranquility1 commented 2 months ago

@bsclifton @ryanbr Since I switched to a new monitor, I haven't had this issue anymore. The problem is with the resolution. If you use a 1080p monitor or higher, you won't notice it. But with lower resolutions like 1366x768 or 1440x900, you will see the blur.
