Ctrl-V Crashes Browser On Mac OS X 14.2.0 #36258

Can you reproduce this crash?: Yes, Using ctrl+V in any capacity completely shuts down the browser.

What steps will reproduce this crash? (If it's not reproducible, what were you doing just before the crash?)

  1. Open browser
  2. Map paste shortcut to "ctrl-V" for Mac and Brave Browser
  3. Use "ctrl+V" in any capacity while in the browser (even pressing the key combo without the intention of pasting anything will close the browser).

ctrl+C also produces the same behavior.

Can't confirm on 14.3.1

@koto-moya Do you have any extensions that might be conflicting with those shortcuts? Did you make any modifications here: brave://settings/system/shortcuts?
