Please allow (perhaps as a menu option?) to use legacy file selection mechanism for all media selection items, bypass photo scoped storage mechanism [feature request]

Description

For many (notably, not ALL - sometimes old file selection can be triggered) websites Brave now mandates use of new android media picker on Android 14+

This picker is extremely uncomfortable.

I want to use my file browser. With thousands of photos a mechanism with no search facility is worse than useless.

Sites on which media picker is ALWAYS triggered - twitter.com web version (attempt to upload a photo will initiate the unproductive media picker)

Sites on which "old" media interface with availability of file selection options can be initiated (somewhat painfully) https://ps.uci.edu/~franklin/doc/file_upload.html

Steps to reproduce

1. Find a website on which media picker is "mandated" (twitter.com web version is reasonably good example)
2. Try to upload media

Expected result

At least this thing that would let me to use a file explorer (this result was obtained using https://ps.uci.edu/~franklin/doc/file_upload.html page)

Do note that currently it asks for a lot of undesirable permissions in order to bring up the "good" file picker. If that could be avoided, then great. If not, then please allow for a flag that ensures that the "good" file picker behavior is always triggered, I'd rather take the "risk" of giving brave a one-time permission for audio record than suffer the absolute negative-value anti-usability of the "new" "secure" file picker

Reproduces on all versions everywhere on android, isn't issue in the full sense but is a massive usability drag

• Is the issue reproducible on the latest version of Chrome? uh, didn't test but given that it's an attempt by Google to coerce new (and worse, and more unpleasant) behavior, it probably would

Additional information

Technically it isn't a bug, and I realize that. But the new file picker and prohibition of using other file managers (which often have supreme usability features like tags and search) for selecting media files makes the experience much much worse A humble flag or a settings option to switch to a saner more comfortable workflow would be very appreciated

Can confirm, but also reproduced on all chromium browsers so likely not just brave affected. Still would be neato if Brave were the ones to fix this.

P.S.: There's "supposed" to be a three-dot menu in the picker but it is nowhere to be seen:

Of note, there is a media picker feature in flags but it does nothing

Any chance of Brave devs looking into this? Looks like a small change but it would help me immensely .

Maybe make a "professional" flag that works... please?
