Hi, as you all know Chromium doesn't support VA-API by default, This is an issue for NVIDIA user (and i think AMD too), this cause a frame drop all over the place when using CPU decoding and reduce a laptop battery life. There's patch available (https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/chromium/-/merge_requests/7 and https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/c/chromium/src/+/5038617) Can you guys try to patch this into the brave browser? that would be great
Any news? It would be great to get working video Decoding working on Nvidia.
