chrome://background-wallpaper/ crashes the browser #40807

Description

Entering the URL chrome://background-wallpaper/ into the address bar crashes the browser (works both on Windows and Android).

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enter chrome://background-wallpaper/ into the address bar.
  2. Press Enter

Actual result

The browser closes and asks to restore the pages on next startup.

Expected result

I wanted to find the background images of the new tab page. At worst the URL should give you a "not found" error.

Reproduced the issue in 1.70.117.

  1. Installed 1.71.90
  2. launched Brave
  3. loaded chrome://branded-wallpaper/ or brave://branded-wallpaper/
  4. confirmed no Brave crash occurred
  5. confirmed This site can't be reached page loaded
