PDF file's page number counting not working. #41169

Description

After the latest update to Brave browser, the PDF page number counter stops updating correctly. When I manually enter a page number and hit enter, I am taken to the correct page, but the counter no longer increments as I continue scrolling.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a new tab in Brave browser.
  2. Open any PDF file.
  3. Enter a page number in the page navigation field and hit Enter.
  4. Scroll down through the document.

Actual result

The page number counter remains static and does not increase as you scroll through subsequent pages.

Expected result

The page number counter should increment correctly as the user scrolls through the document, reflecting the current page number.
