TikTok not responding in Brave #41685

Description

TikTok in desktop browser is often not responding and buffering videos Image Image

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open TikTok in Brave
  2. Browse videos

Actual result

Website not responding and freezing

Expected result

For the website to work fine

Hi @GKid94 We just released 1.71.114. Can you update to the latest version and see if you're still seeing this issue?

@GKid94 What operating system are you running? When you get a chance can you go to brave://version/ and copy and paste the information from there through to the User Agent line should look like this:

Brave 1.71.114 Chromium: 130.0.6723.58 (Official Build) (arm64)

Something that might be worth trying - log out and log back in.

If that doesn't work, you can log out and then pull up the site settings for tiktok.com (ex: paste brave://settings/content/siteDetails?site=https%3A%2F%2Ftiktok.com%2F in URL bar) and then click Delete data and log back in
