@varnit-nigam It sounds like you want to use Sync like a backup service. You also can just sync your Windows and Linux desktops on one sync chain and create a different/separate sync chain for your mobile device.

My Linux and Windows versions of brave are different. Both are for different clients. I cannot overlap that. It will cause big chaos.

Why isn't Brave bringing their "Brave Sync" feature that isn't as interdependent one (but should be independent, own its own device)?
The current system provided by Brave is that you need to install Brave on two devices (and OSes) and bring them into a sync chain. This is good for those who have used it and are using it. But eventually, this isn't feasible. Reasons. First, what I do on my Brave desktop (Windows and Linux) is different and I don't want it to be reflective on my mobile. Second, what I use Brave on my mobile for isn't as same as desktop. Also, mobile Brave consumers more data and battery, so I use it very least. This is not just for history, tabs but also for logins. Also, sync chain doesn't guarantee of syncing addons installed or filters added or themes and Brave stats and other things like Edge, Chrome, Opera, Firefox and Vivaldi does.
Also, unfortunately, I lost all of my Brave data on desktop post recent Windows 11 update, which caused jitters in app opening and it lead to my data loss with Edge and Brave but for Edge, it was account-synced, so all got back-in but Brave... On top of that, the default from Brave changed to Edge post W11 update.
So, as images attached below, requesting for Brave Sync: feature that isn't as interdependent one (but should be independent, own its own device). Recently a mobile browser named Quetta did it, I am using them since this year and they promised it to bring it by third quarter of this year and did it eventually.
I request the Brave team to see practicalities and how a better sync chain that is useful and effective can be considered, if users like me are shifting with their years of data (mostly work for desktop and entertainment for mobile) to their browser with hopes of better browser and backup. Features can be used, if data isn't lost, and if data retains only then we can be using Brave for long.
