When using HIL simulation the ‘model’ flies about 23 m/s airspeed (but only
showing ground speed) and cannot be changed. I am using FlightGear sim but
others on the forum have reported the same issue with xplane.
Even using the MP Actions tab – ‘change speed’ makes no difference. If
the max throttle is limited with parameters the model will just descend to
maintain speed. Speed will slow slightly during tight manoeuvres. The throttle
channel is working to keep that speed.
This is showing ground speed only, airspeed will not display. Have tried all
settings. Headwind will slow the ground speed down.
