Demo folder #24

For a variety of useful scripts, especially for R scripts for static vignettes.

@martinrd3D Demo loads and runs, but there is an error in the code. See below:

I had taken a look at that, and think that it was a warning rather than an error, and have planned to have Kirk look at it. I will take a look again this afternoon, before we talk.
