10 months ago Sadly, it's not feasible, although I appreciate the offer. A couple people have discussed playing around with other options in the Homebridge discord, but nothing has really come out of it. At this point, the best way forward is other options like Meross or Ratgdo.

10 months ago I've tried the Meross but cannot get my Pixel 7 pro or a Samsung tablet to connect to it for set up. I'm really bummed. Anyone had any luck with Android connecting to it?

10 months ago Hi Brian- Not sure how to best contact you (i followed you on linked in). I got (4) ratgdo devices and installed them today. I fired up a Mosquitto MQTT broker (docker image), and got all the devices communicating with the ability to control everything (doors, lights, locks) via some python MQTT scripts. I'm happy to share any of my work with you if you're interested. I really like the devices and based upon the statuses provided from the ratgdo devices, I'm excited to see what you come up with. 10 months ago That's excellent, thank you. I'm still waiting on mine. I'll send you an e-mail once I get it - would love having some scripts just to not start from scratch.
I'm a software engineer by trade, and using this project has been immensely helpful for my home automations and such. I'm sad to see it looks like it's retiring... Is it really impossible now, or is it just a huge PITA? It it's not impossible I'd be willing to pitch in some work to help make this stay alive. I've literally setup routines that verify message integrity, specs followed, etc, for things I've worked on, so if it's just matching what they want versus what was being thrown at it before that doesn't match now, that's relatively easy to debug and fix. Just offering the help if you wanna keep this alive, because it was a life saver for a lot of things for me already.
