if implementing this it would be quite helpful to have different presets as there are different (VAT) tax rates (maybe also a fixed part additional to the relative?) on different types of product (e.g. reduced for food, normal for other consumption, higher for unhealthy / luxuries, not meaning to limit the presets on 3). then the preset would need to be associated per item.
also on the bill the sum of VAT included should be displayed per preset for the requirements.
the requirements might be very special in different jurisdictions, so a template for receipts might come in handy where the community can contribute the templates to fit the laws. e.g. including net and gross sums or count of items and whatnot.
In restaurents in Finland it is mandatory alvays print receipt even if customer didn't want one. Now they need to print receipt from current PoS + Breez = double expences on thermal paper.
Idea:
Think if there was "Sales Tax" or "VAT" percentage field or predefined value selection on each Breez Item. Calculated values would be exported onto PoS transactions CSV report too.
Shop keepers didn't have to integrate Breez sales onto current PoS system nor print separated check from current PoS. They instead print Breez receipt with VAT values and deliver CSV Export to their accounting.
Improvements:
Simplify business processes, lower costs and more easy implementation for merchants.
