Tomorrow/Today notification is unreadable on android 9

This is not an issue with Breezy Weather, please check your customizations or contact your manufacturer. It works fine on a standard Android 5.0.

The previous Breezy weather release is working fine. This is a regression. Not device problem.

This issue has been put aside. It is currently unclear if it will ever be implemented as it seems to cover too narrow of a use case or doesn’t seem to fit into Breezy Weather. Please try to clarify the use case or consider proposing something more generic to make it useful to more users.

I tested both v4.6.12 and v4.6.14, they all work fine on an older device than yours, so it looks like a device-specific issue to me.

I reopen in case @danielzhang130 wants to take a look at the regression introduced in #587

I tried the last 5 releases, but they all have the same problem

I don't know when the publication of the notification went bad. I use obtainium manager to update breezyweather directly from guthub and I haven't updated it in a while.

So it's unrelated to #587. Please tell us which version introduced the issue exactly. You said last 5 versions worked, so it means it was OK in 4.6.9 then stopped working in 4.6.10, right?

Can you check if the notification widget is displayed correctly? Top right settings -> widget & live wallpaper (5th from the top) -> turn on "notification widget" switch

no. they don't work either :(

I don't know which version I used when it was still good. I haven't updated the app in quite a while just now.

That explains why it sometimes worked for you in previous versions.

Feel free to contact your manufacturer about this issue. Apps don't control the paddings that surround Android notifications.
