Unreasonable event name for modules #2

Open brein62 opened 10 months ago

Replicate using...

addschedule user type/module en/CS2103T tutorial h/Monday 1500 1600

Command doesn't work since the event name for modules are expected to be of a certain module code format (such as CS2103T). However, in reality, users might want to distinguish between different types of classes in the module, such as CS2103T tutorial vs CS2103T lecture, which would be problematic for these users.

Team's Response

We accept that this may pose as an inconvenience to the users. However, the purpose of this application is to allow users to compare their timetables with their friends, and look for common free times with each other, hence our team feels that the visibility of the distinction between a "lecture" and "tutorial" in the module schedules is not entirely in scope of the purpose of our application. Rather, what this app should focus on is to allow users to ensure that their timetables have no overlapping events within itself, and that they can compare their own timetables with that of their friends to see where their common free times are. Therefore, our group kindly responds to this issue with "Not In Scope".

 Issue response

Team chose [response.NotInScope]

Reason for disagreement: [replace this with your explanation]

## Issue severity Team chose [`severity.VeryLow`] Originally [`severity.Low`] - [x] I disagree **Reason for disagreement:** This is not purely a cosmetic issue (which VeryLow is meant for) and may affect a few users (including me) who might want to use the product this way. However, I agree that this is NotInScope to be applied for future releases
