FWIW, I actually switched to this driver since it is based on a newer version: https://github.com/morrownr/8821cu-20210916.

The https://github.com/morrownr/8821cu-20210916 has a lot of problem with my usb dongle on 6.1 like this https://github.com/morrownr/8821cu-20210916/issues/74

however with this driver has not problems @agners thank for the patch
