After sometime of being connected, with multiple restarts and discoveries, the Wifi module will occasioanlly not response to a command with an acknowledgement. This slowly gets worse and worse, and a physical power cycle of the wifi module resolves the issue temporarily.
A workaround is to implement a re-attempt mechanism that checks for an acknowledgement.
