ELM327 Silent mode support (AT AM and others) #85

Dear friends,

I know that this feature request was closed previously, but I would like to study silent mode support. It can be of great to silently listen to CAN and study any ECU. Any suggestion welcome, this is next on my radat list, as my car outputs mostly unknown CAN information.

It seems very interesting as after switchin to AM mode, any character sent switches back to normal mode.

OK, buffer should be saturated quickly, but at the same time, it is possible to filter.

So let's have a try.

A CAN extension to a Raspberry pie would be a better solution, as it allows using Wireshark: http://skpang.co.uk/catalog/pican-canbus-board-for-raspberry-pi-p-1196.html
