When making a topo for a crag/cliff/sector, you can add routes to a topo picture. It would be really nice if the routes would be presented in the sorted/corrected order for the area, rather than in some other order (I would guess, raw database order, which seems to be order they have been added to the area).

No, they don't. They seem to come up in the order they were added to the database.
I was working with http://www.thecrag.com/area/11926309 (NA->Canada->Quebec->Montagne d'Argent -> Grand Canyon), and it has some 52 routes. If I try to create a topo, and do "add routes", the twelfth route in the list is: Le "Speech" de Gaetan -- actual route #36, and about 15th in the list is Le Marchand de sable -- actual route #44.
These routes have been in the database for (at least) a couple weeks. So, I don't think it is a propagation issue.
