Lack of page breaks hinders readability #6

In the user guide, lack of page breaks means information in the same section gets split up at unexpected points.

It is suggested to utilise page breaks to improve overall reader experience, especially as the guide gets longer. Utilising page breaks allows the developer to have control over where sections start and end on the page, and to allocate more space to specific sections where necessary.

Team's Response

Utilising page breaks is a subjective design choice, which caters to some users. However, the downsides of implementing page breaks, is that it introduces unnecessary whitespace and potentially disrupts the user reading experience.

Moreover, as the user guide is intended to be read online by the majority of users, this would affect a minority of minority of users.

Lastly, from a development perspective, as the user guide is updated often and in markdown, the placement of page breaks will inevitably have to be updated every time the user guide is updated.
