Switch Chatter function essentially freezes the application on v 1.9

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a chat.
2. Click a switch chatter button.

When I click the switch button in-chat a border of the captcha window appears 
with a plain white empty frame on the inside. So I cannot get rid of the 
captcha, and thus cannot get out of the app.

I am using v1.9 on Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bits

Yip! I seem to have brought back that old bug in 1.9! It's very frustrating. 
You have to end the task to close the program. -_- 

It's 100% fixed in 2.0, I've made sure. The captcha window is on a completely 
separate thread.

Check the homepage to see when 2.0 is released. I'm hoping to release it within 
the next couple of days. Until then, you can revert back to 1.8a if 1.9 is not 
usable.
