Plotting Time as well as Date? #477

The name "Timeplot" suggests that you can plot values with respect to time, but 
it only seems to work for date and not time of day. Use of XML from Timeline 
will give event markers, but they do not have a value that is plotted. I have 
looked at the documentation and searched online and have not found anything 
that suggests that I can plot time (not just date) data with Timeplot. Is this 
the case? If not, then how can time plots be implemented?
