Thank you for your issue. It forced me to add some instructions for gathering log files. Please follow those instructions and add a log file to this issue so I can see what is happening.

Dear Bret, Thanks for the quick response and instructions. I have just run a series of images with the logging turned on. I had to use exposures of 0.001s to get an image as no gain contoll. Many thanks Steve

The H9 is an older CCD camera, and it does not have regulated cooling (the cooler is either on or off), and it does not have adjustable gain. I believe the driver is correctly reporting both of these facts to NINA (but I've been wrong before :-) ), and I'm curious what it is doing with them.

Can you share more information about what failure you are seeing in Nina? I would expect it might just have a control to turn the camera on or off (but I've never used it with such a camera).

Hi, The camera is one I picked up second hand to try out. So far I have only used it in looping mode to achieve focus. NINA does not show if the cooler is on or off. In order to achieve an exposure I am using exp times as low as 0.001s in daylight. There does no appear to be any Gain control. I can see a Gain setting in the plate solving utility but if I enter a number it appears to have no effect. Perhaps I need to experiment with the camera a bit more. Just waiting for a clear night!
