Ha! It's not flat. Look at some of Mike Blakes graphs. That being said, you can always scale the elevation settings to make it look worse or better depending on your intention. It might make a fun addition to the cards directly below the map image.
'flat' is relative. i'm used to a lot of WA trail that look more like this:
It's all about the scale. This one makes the easy hike Pachena to Michigan look a lot more intimidating!

Going to add in here that a graph like this could be added to the cards or to the summary page. Show the daily graph instead of the entire trail graph. Maybe have it directional as well? It would sit well just under the map on each card. Super nerdy option to tie in the GPS location on the trail with the position along the elevation line too!
A lot of trail apps show a graph of elevation/distance to get a sense of the trail climbing. Less important for WCT as it's mostly flat - but maybe?
