Email message notifications in triplicate #465

What steps will reproduce the problem?
email on one particular gmail account

What is the expected output?
Growl notification appears in triplicate
What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Growl 1.2.2 Snow Leopard 10.6.8

Please provide any additional information below.
I use Growl 1.2.2 on Snow Leopard and it has a curious quirk - when I get an a 
gmail message in my OS X native Mail app, Growl gives me notice in triplicate. 
Curiously, it is only on the one gmail account; I have a hotmail account and 
number of other gmail accounts all served by my Mail and on those, Growl just 
gives me one notice per message, but on my one gmail account I always get the 
notification three times in rapid succession. Not really a big problem but it 
does mean if I've got a lot of email messages Growl fills my screen in no time 
at all.

Any advice?

you're filing this against the wrong project, Growl has nothing to do with 
gmail notifications.

http://code.google.com/p/growlmail/ is what you're looking for.

you will receive in triplicate when using gmail with GrowlMail if you do not 
have GrowlMail's settings set to notify for inbox only.
