Specific versions of some source packages are prone to disappearance from the 'net (UPS, MySQL). Others can be difficult to download in an automated fashion (eg all sf.net packages). A feature to maintain and use a source archive mirror is needed.

copy/sync contents of the srcdir after a successful install to some web-accessible directory
URL fail-over to produce a cascade of URLs for any given source archive

Is now in 1.3.2.

Works by letting source_url be a space-separated list of URLs. Each tried in order until the first succeeds.
